SwimRun Half Marathon

The central point is now the Deckerspitz/Mitterreith.
The largest swimming area at the Ottensteiner Reservoir offers a unique panorama for the start, finish, as well as registration, awards ceremony, race briefing, and the post-race gathering.
Nature trails, hidden power spots, rocky ascents, varied course layout with some surprises, and beautiful views are to be found along the entire route.
The race starts at 9:00 AM, together with the half marathon.

The race briefing via Facebook livestream for participants will take place the evening before at 6.45 PM.

This briefing is mandatory for marathon and half marathon participants, and recommended for sprint and trial participants to familiarize themselves with all the rules and instructions.

Notes:

Water temperature: The Ottensteiner Reservoir typically ranges between 23 and 25°C.
One week before the race, we will provide the latest information and guidelines regarding attire.
Course markings: Unfortunately, there are always people who remove course markings. Therefore, there will be extra emphasis on triple marking with ribbons, ground markings, and signs.

Attention:
There is one cut-off point on the marathon course, based on the experience of the slowest participants. This cut-off will occur after the first loop, at the start/finish line, at 11:45 AM. Participants can then switch to the half marathon.

In total, there will be 5 aid stations, each offering water and isotonic drinks, with some carbohydrates and salty snacks to help fuel you.
